These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of halofortune.com.au (the "Site") and the related credit assistance services provided by Halo Fortune ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site, submitting any form, using any calculator, or communicating with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

1. Who we are

Halo Fortune Group Pty Ltd (ABN 51 167 597 122, ACN 167 597 122) is the holder of ACL 483923.We provide credit assistance services in Australia under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) ("NCCP"). We are not a lender — we do not directly provide loan funds.

2. What our service covers

The Site and our services include:

  • information and comparison on home, investment, commercial, construction, refinance, and cash-out loan options;
  • assessing your credit needs and suitability, and recommending appropriate lenders and products;
  • assisting with application document preparation, lender submission, and progress follow-up;
  • serving as the ongoing contact point between you and the lender after settlement.

The decision to approve a loan and the loan terms (interest rate, amount, term, etc.) are made independently by the lender, not by us. We use reasonable endeavours to recommend suitable options, but we cannot guarantee that any lender will approve your application.

3. General advice only

The content published on the Site (articles, calculators, rate comparisons, case studies, etc.) and information provided during initial enquiry is general information only. It does not take into account your specific objectives, financial situation, or personal needs. Before acting on anything you read on the Site, consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances, and seek independent advice from a licensed financial planner, tax adviser or solicitor as required.

When we accept your instruction as Credit Representative and provide specific loan recommendations, we undertake the reasonable inquiries and "not unsuitable" assessment required by the NCCP Act and issue a written Credit Proposal. That recommendation constitutes "credit assistance" but does not constitute investment, tax or legal advice.

4. Your responsibilities

By using the Site and our services, you agree that:

  • all information you provide (including income, liabilities, assets, identification) is true, complete and accurate;
  • you will not upload or submit any document that is forged, altered or belongs to another person;
  • you will use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws;
  • you will not attempt to disrupt the Site, circumvent access restrictions, or scrape Site content at scale;
  • you will protect any account credentials (if applicable) and are responsible for activity from your account.

Providing false information may not only result in loan refusal, default or criminal consequences — it may constitute fraud under the Crimes Act / Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth). We may disclose relevant information to regulators, lenders or law enforcement to the extent required by law or by the lender.

5. Calculators, rates & third-party content

Loan calculators, rate comparisons, lender policy summaries and similar content on the Site are indicative only. Rates change as lenders adjust their products; we use reasonable endeavours to keep content current but do not warrant real-time accuracy. Any specific loan terms must be confirmed by a written offer from the lender.

The Site may link to third-party websites, lenders or partners. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

6. Intellectual property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Site (including but not limited to articles, design, logos, copy, calculator logic, case studies and original imagery) belong to Halo Fortune Group Pty Ltd or the relevant rights holder. Without our written consent, you may not:

  • reproduce, republish, distribute or modify Site content for commercial purposes;
  • use Site content to train AI models or build derivative datasets (separate scraping / AI policy is in /robots.txt and /llms.txt);
  • remove or alter copyright notices, logos or brand identifiers in Site content.

Personal non-commercial viewing, saving, or printing for your own borrowing decision is unaffected.

7. Privacy

How we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Please read the Privacy Policy before submitting any personal information.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss (including without limitation loss of profits, goodwill or data) arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site — other than from a written Credit Proposal we expressly issue to you as your Credit Representative.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or statutory guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract. To the extent we may, our liability for any non-excludable guarantee is limited to (a) re-supplying the services or (b) paying the reasonable cost of having the services re-supplied.

9. Complaints & disputes

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please first lodge an internal complaint via our Complaints & Disputes page. We respond within 30 business days under ASIC RG 271. Unresolved complaints can be escalated free of charge to AFCA (Australian Financial Complaints Authority); our member number is 45759.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising from these Terms. If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect regulatory changes, product changes or operational changes. Updated Terms are effective from the date of publication. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the Site. Please review this page periodically.
